Report: Jared Jeffries accepts job with Nuggets

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, 11-year NBA veteran Jared Jeffries is making the transition from the court to the office.

Jeffries will reportedly begin his post-playing career with a scouting role at Denver. 

The 31-year-old has a history with Nuggets general manager Tim Connelly, who worked in the Wizards' front office while Jeffries played for Washington from 2002 to 2006.

In his 11 seasons, Jeffries averaged 4.8 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 0.4 assists. He spent 2012-13 with the Portland Trail Blazers.
