Ben Hansbrough News: Hansbrough did not receive a qualifying offer from the Pacers, making him an unrestricted free agent, 1070 AM The Fan reports.

Hansbrough did not receive a qualifying offer from the Pacers, making him an unrestricted free agent, 1070 AM The Fan reports.

The development is not at all a shock, as Hansbrough made just 28 appearances last season, averaging 2.0 points (on 33.3 percent shooting) and 0.8 assists in 7.2 minutes. The Pacers will now pursue another point guard to back up George Hill next season, while Hansbrough may have to endure a stint in the NBA's D-League before another club shows interest in his services.
