Cook appeared in 49 combined games for the Rockets and Bulls this season and averaged 3.4 points in 10.4 minutes per game.

Cook began the season as a member of the Rockets but was waived on New Year's Day after the team needed a roster spot for the newly-acquired James Anderson. He subsequently signed with Chicago three days later and primarily served as an end-of-the-bench shooter. Cook has a reputation as a 3-point marksman but shot just 24.6 percent from deep after coming to the Bulls. He struggles to score in other ways, particularly around the basket, and holds little value as a rebounder or facilitator. An unrestricted free agent this summer, it is highly unlikely he'll be in a Bulls uniform come next season.
