No matter, Smith has taken the court seven times in the team's last nine contests, averaging a measly 2.4 points (on 38.9 percent shooting) in 4.1 minutes. With Portland officially out of the playoff picture, he may earn a bit more run in order for management to learn if any development has occurred, but the 2011 first-round draft pick (and upcoming free agent) may be logging his final minutes with the organization as the season draws to a close.
