Pirates manager Clint Hurdle has looked for a second lefty to complement Tony Watson and Wilson fits the bill. The hard-throwing lefty, who hurled a no-hitter for Triple-A Indianapolis, made eight inconsistent relief appearances for Pittsburgh in 2012. He spent the bulk of time in the minors, starting 25 games while posting a 3.78 ERA and 138:66 K:BB ratio in 135.2 frames. A career 4.5 BB/9 ratio has limited his upside.
