Johnson has heeded the words of Indiana head coach Frank Vogel to work within the movement of the offense instead of forcing shots, the Indianapolis Star reports. "[I] told him to buy into the extra-pass mentality and shoot quality shots," Vogel said. "He doesn't need to force, doesn't need to do anything but move the basketball and when it comes to him and (the) shot is in rhythm, that's his time to shoot."

Johnson, who joined the rotation at the beginning of January, was 7-of-26 from the field at the time Vogel talked with him. Since then, the rookie has made 12-of-18, including 10-of-12 from 3-point range. The improvement's nice, but the minutes aren't there to entice fantasy players to grab him -- Johnson's averaging 10.1 minutes per game since entering the rotation. And whatever burn he's getting right now will go bye-bye when Danny Granger (knee) returns in the next couple of weeks.
