Mike Bryant is a happy man.

Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant, the reigning National League MVP, continued to mash on Sunday in Boston, hitting his second home run of the series with his father in attendance.

The timely 410-foot bomb brought Mike out of his seat. Kris' first blast of the series, which came in Friday's game, inspired the slugger to point to the stands immediately after touching home.

"That’s probably the only time I’ve ever actually seen my family in the stands," the 25-year-old Bryant said on Friday, according to Carrie Muskat of MLB.com. "I was like, 'Oh, there he is. Proud dad.' It was probably one of my favorite home runs, considering my family is from this area and my dad (was drafted by the Red Sox) and all that. It felt really good."
