Watch: Carpenter hits walk-off grand slam in extras

St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Matt Carpenter didn't get a chance to make an impact in Tuesday's series opener against the Toronto Blue Jays, since he was serving a one-game suspension. He made up for it in the first game of Thursday's doubleheader.
After the Cardinals tied the game at four apiece on a Randal Grichuk two-run blast in the ninth inning, Carpenter hit a walk-off grand slam to sink the Blue Jays 8-4 in the 11th.
It was the first walk-off grand slam by a Cardinals batter since Aaron Miles did it in 2008, and the team's first in extra innings since Tommy Herr in 1987.
