Watch: Giants' Morse evokes 2014 NLCS memories with pinch-hit HR

In 2014, Michael Morse cemented himself in the hearts of San Francisco Giants fans when he mashed a pinch-hit, game-tying, solo home run in the NLCS against the St. Louis Cardinals that helped take the Giants to the World Series.

He did it again Wednesday.

Though a trip to the World Series wasn't at stake, the 35-year-old - making his first appearance for the Giants since that 2014 season - delivered on another pinch-hit appearance and crushed another solo home run, this time off Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Pedro Baez to tie it 3-3 against his club's division rivals.

Even Morse's home-run celebration remained pretty much the same:

"When (Morse) hit it out it did bring back great memories," Giants manager Bruce Bochy said following his team's 4-3 walk-off win in 10 innings, according to John Dickinson of 95.7 The Game.
