Ohio State's Trevor Thompson signs with agent, will remain in NBA draft

Tommy Gilligan / USA TODAY Sports

Trevor Thompson has decided that now is the time to turn pro.

The Ohio State center elected to sign with Thad Foucher of the Wasserman Group on Tuesday, voiding his last year of college eligibility and remaining in the 2017 NBA Draft, according to Jeff Goodman of ESPN.

The likelihood of Thompson hearing his name called on draft day may be slim given that he does not show up on many draft boards.

Thompson enjoyed his most productive season with the Buckeyes last year, averaging 10.6 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks over 23 minutes per game.
