Phillies-Marlins postponed due to rain

Bill Streicher / USA TODAY Sports

Tuesday's game at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia between the Phillies and Miami Marlins has been officially postponed due to rain.

A rescheduled date has yet to be announced.

It's the third contest Tuesday to be postponed due to inclement weather in the region. The New York Yankees' contest against the Red Sox in Boston was also adjourned, with a makeup date set for July 16, while rain at Citi Field also deferred the New York Mets' game against the Atlanta Braves to Sept. 25.
