Here is a look at the Squad Up daily MLB fantasy picture for the seven-game slate beginning at 8:05 p.m. EST on Tuesday, April 25:

Hitter Stacks

  • Chicago White Sox vs. Kansas City Royals (LHP Danny Duffy): If you're looking for a contrarian stack, side with a White Sox team ranked fifth team in wOBA against lefties at .339. They rank ninth in slugging percentage and only five teams strikeout at a lesser rate. Duffy has surrendered just two home runs in 27 1/3 innings, but he is striking out fewer and walking more batters per nine than he did last season.

3-player stack: SS Tim Anderson (32K), OF Melky Cabrera (45K), 1B Jose Abreu (53K)

  • Oakland Athletics at Los Angeles Angels (RHP J.C. Ramirez): Ramirez has pitched 15 1/3 innings over two starts and five appearances this season. He's sporting a 6.46 ERA which improves to 3.41 when looking at his xFIP. He's keeping the ball in the park with a 1.17 HR/9, but he is allowing 32.6 percent hard contact. Oakland ranks sixth in slugging percentage against right-handers.

3-player stack: OF Jaff Decker (38K), 2B Jed Lowrie (41K), 3B Ryon Healy (50K)

  • Colorado Rockies vs. Washington Nationals (RHP Joe Ross): As per usual, the highest projected run total of the night is in Colorado. The Nationals and Rockies are expected to combine for 11 runs. Nationals RHP Joe Ross has allowed a fly-ball rate of 31.9 percent over his career.

3-player stack: OF Charlie Blackmon (63K), 3B Nolan Arenado (69K), 2B DJ LeMahieu (55K)

Pitcher Breakdown

  • TARGET - RHP Marco Estrada (62K), Blue Jays (at Cardinals): Estrada will be pitching in a friendlier park than he does at Rogers Centre in Toronto. He is already allowing just 1.13 HR/9, while the more expansive Busch Stadium is likely to help him out. He's striking out a career-best 9.00 per nine innings. The Cardinals rank just 18th in team wOBA against righties.
  • BARGAIN - LHP Clayton Richard (41K), Padres (at Diamondbacks): Only two pitchers on the slate are less expensive than Richard. He is striking out just 6.08 hitters per nine, but his 3.04 ERA is accompanied by a 3.14 xFIP and is very real. The Diamondbacks rank just 26th in team wOBA against southpaws.
  • FADE - RHP Andrew Cashner (56K), Rangers (vs. Twins): The Rangers and Twins are tied for the second-highest projected run total outside of Colorado, at 9.5. The Rangers are only slight favorites, indicating the potential for a four- or five-run game from Minnesota. Cashner is striking out fewer than four batters per nine innings on the season.
  • CONTRARIAN - RHP Ervin Santana (56K), Twins (at Rangers): While the high run total should cause some hesitation, Santana has been striking out 6.43 batters per nine, giving him the clear edge over Cashner. He is walking a reasonable 2.57 hitters per nine and has given up just one home run on the season.

Bargain Plays

  • OF Hunter Pence (37K), Giants (vs. Dodgers): It's never wise to target Dodgers LHP Clayton Kershaw, but Pence is cheap enough to be the only consideration from a team which isn't hitting lefties well at the moment. He is 9-for-25 with a home run and four walks against lefties this season, with just four strikeouts.
  • 1B Justin Smoak (39K), Blue Jays (at Cardinals): The Blue Jays lose the luxury of a designated hitter for their series in St. Louis, meaning they'll need to choose between Smoak and regular DH Kendrys Morales. Smoak is the slightly superior defender, liking giving him the edge. He is slugging .525 through 63 plate appearances.
  • C Jason Castro (39K), Twins (at Rangers): Andrew Cashner's dismal K/9 is joined by an even worse 5.56 BB/9. Castro is still walking at a 17.5 percent clip, propping his .213 batting average up to a .351 on-base percentage. His salary is low enough he just needs to get on base and come around to score.

Top Fades

  • OF Bryce Harper (79K), Nationals (at Rockies): Harper has the highest Squad Up salary for a hitter this season. The combination of his other-worldly statistics and the thin Coors Field atmosphere have propped up his price. While he likely will have a great series, Tuesday's Rockies starter German Marquez has routinely induced a ground-ball rate above 50 percent through the minor leagues.
  • 3B Jake Lamb (49K), Diamondbacks (vs. Padres): Lamb, who has struggled against lefties for his career, hasn't found success against southpaws yet again in 2017. He's just 5-for-24 with three single and two doubles. He has three walks but also nine strikeouts. As noted above, he has a difficult matchup against Richard, and his home field won't be enough to salvage his day.
  • SS Corey Seager (50K), Dodgers (at Giants): Seager has also struggled against lefties this season, recording just six hits in 30 at-bats. Of those six hits, he does have two doubles and a home run, but there are fewer extra-base hits available at AT&T Park.

Contrarian Plays

  • 2B Ryan Schimpf (46K), Padres (at Diamondbacks): Schimpf struck out in three of four PAs in Monday's series opener in Arizona. While strikeouts have been his biggest issue this season, his hard-hit rate of 16.7 percent is limiting his home run output with a fly-ball rate of 66.7 percent. His medium-contact rate of 52.8 percent could be enough at Chase Field.
  • OF Lorenzo Cain (52K), Royals (at White Sox): Cain is slashing .313/.429/.375 on the season, but he's yet to hit a home run and has just five runs scored and four RBIs. The Royals have scored two or fewer runs in eight consecutive games, limiting his upside, but at no fault of his own. They could have more team success against White Sox RHP Dylan Covey, who has allowed nine earned runs in 10 1/3 innings.
