After dropping their last two contests, the Chicago Bulls will start Isaiah Canaan at point guard in Game 5 versus the Boston Celtics, head coach Fred Hoiberg announced Monday.

Rajon Rondo remains out with a fractured thumb.

Canaan has appeared in just one game this series, dropping 13 points, three assists, two rebounds, and two steals in the Bulls' 104-95 Game 4 defeat. The 25-year-old played sparingly during the regular season, averaging 4.6 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 0.9 assists on 36.4 percent shooting in 39 contests.

Jerian Grant will return to the bench after going scoreless in five minutes on Sunday.

After winning its first two games in Boston, Chicago has sputtered following the loss of Rondo, allowing the Celtics to even the series with back-to-back victories at the United Center.
