Arkadiusz Milik, welcome back.

The Poland international scored his first goal in 207 days since returning from an anterior cruciate ligament tear that put a massive dent his first season with Napoli.

A €35-million summer signing from Ajax, Milik injured himself while on international duty in October, only to defy convention and return to Maurizio Sarri's squad two-months early in February. Since then, the 23-year-old has appeared in 11 matches in all competitions, though he had to wait until Sunday at Sassuolo for his first tally of the new year, and it proved to be a significant goal.

Down 2-1 with minutes remaining after goals from Domenico Berardi and Luca Mazzitelli canceled out Dries Mertens' 22nd Serie A goal of the season, Milik was Johnny on the Spot six minutes from time to snatch a point for the Partenopei.

In the end, Napoli will regret not doing better, as the result sees the club fail to vault Roma for second in Italy's top flight, with table-topper Juventus maintaining its eight-point advantage on I Giallorossi ahead of the Old Lady's late match against Genoa on Sunday.
