Here is a look at the Squad Up daily MLB fantasy picture for the eight-game slate beginning at 1:10 p.m. EST on Sunday, April 23:

Hitter Stacks

  • Cleveland Indians at Chicago White Sox, (LHP Derek Holland): Holland held the Indians scoreless over six innings on April 12. The second time around, however, won't be so easy. Cleveland comes in sitting third in runs scored and first in OPS over the past week. Against lefties this season, the Tribe also rank sixth in OBP.

3-player stack: SS Francisco Lindor (54K), 1B Edwin Encarnacion (60K), OF Brandon Guyer (48K)

  • Detroit Tigers at Minnesota Twins (RHP Kyle Gibson): Gibson is one of the easiest pitchers to target on Sunday's early slate. He's labored through all three of his starts, posting an ERA above 5.0 in each one. Collectively, he has a 6.91 ERA and 1.60 WHIP. The Detroit lineup has just a few healthy hitters left, but it's enough to get the job done.

2-player stack: 2B Ian Kinsler (52K), 3B Nicholas Castellanos (51K),

Pitcher Breakdown

  • TARGET - RHP Danny Salazar (90K), Indians (at White Sox): Salazar has the strikeout potential to post big fantasy lines but doesn't come with an obscene salary. Through his first three starts, Salazar has a 3.57 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, and 13.75 K/9. A matchup against a lackluster White Sox offense that sits 29th in runs scored isn't intimidating.
  • FADE - RHP Mike Foltynewicz (85K), Braves (at Phillies): Foltynewicz is coming off a fantastic start in which he threw seven innings and gave up just two runs against Washington. But aside from that one start, Foltynewicz simply doesn't have the career numbers to warrant such a high salary. Starting for a 6-11 Atlanta team doesn't provide much optimism for a win, either.

Bargain Plays

  • 1B Yulieski Gurriel (33K), Astros (at Rays): Gurriel has a 1.324 OPS with three RBI over his past four games. The 32-year-old Cuban sophomore has hit a stellar .294 through 15 games but has registered only one homer and four RBI total. More of those counting stats will follow if Gurriel continues to make contact at such a steady rate.
  • OF Aaron Judge (43K), Yankees (at Pirates): Judge is still drastically underpriced for his power and recent play. Though he'll be a popular selection at this salary, he almost demands a spot on your roster right now. Judge has three homers over his past five games, collecting five RBIs and six runs scored during that run, as well.

Top Fades

  • 3B Todd Frazier (55K), White Sox (vs. Indians): Frazier has missed a handful of recent games due to the flu. Since returning to action two games ago, he's gone 0-for-6, thus bringing his average down to a horrid .091. Frazier hasn't flashed much of the power he displayed last year either, with only one home run and one RBI in 37 plate appearances.
  • OF Matt Kemp (65K), Braves (at Phillies): Kemp has come back from a recent injury to play in three games. He's gone 1-for-13 in those three contests. Despite all of that, he is still listed as the most expensive outfielder on Sunday's early slate. While Kemp was hot right out of the gate, he isn't back into that shape quite yet.
