Charley Hoffman is one of the worst on the PGA Tour at scrambling from around the green, ranking 196th this season.
However, Hoffman looked like one of the best Thursday at the Texas Open, after his second shot went over the putting surface at the par-4 ninth.
The defending champion hit a precise flop shot that landed just on the green, and rolled to a foot away.
