Responding to rumors that his client is contemplating retirement, Germaine de Randamie's manager, Brian Butler-Au, insists that isn't the case.

"She's got things going on at home and stuff going on at police academy," Butler-Au told MMAjunkie's Steven Marrocco. "The UFC's aware of it, and we are working through it. That's all I can say at the moment."

Online chatter increased in volume when former UFC champion Holly Holm wrote a Facebook post expressing her concern over De Randamie walking away from the sport. Holm and De Randamie battled each other at UFC 208 for the right to become the promotion's first women's featherweight champion, a clash that ended with De Randamie winning a narrow unanimous decision.

Butler-Au didn't comment on the status of De Randamie's injured hand nor whether she would accept a rematch with Holm or move on to a fight with Cris Cyborg. Though Cyborg has pegged UFC 214 as the date for her showdown with "The Iron Lady," Butler-Au advises not to believe anything until it's made official.

"Everything that you're hearing right now is just rumor mill," Butler-Au said.
