Oklahoma State lands ex-Miami (OH) star Michael Weathers
Oklahoma State plucked former Miami (OH) standout Michael Weathers off the transfer market Sunday, assuring the Cowboys some future firepower in their backcourt.
Weathers will be forced to sit out next year before becoming eligible for the first of three seasons in 2018-19.

The 6-foot-2 scoring sensation put up 16.7 points per game in his freshman campaign. Weathers also posted 4.8 assists and 4.2 boards per contest for the Redhawks.
Oklahoma State used strong guard play to reemerge as a Big 12 threat this season, reaching the NCAA tournament before getting knocked out by Michigan in a tight first-round encounter.
