Trout collects 500th RBI with triple

Neville E. Guard / USA TODAY Sports

It seems like every night Mike Trout offers a reminder of how ridiculous his resume is, despite being just 25 years old.

The reigning American League Most Valuable Player tripled in the fifth inning Tuesday off Oakland Athletics starter Sean Manaea to cash in Kole Calhoun for the 500th RBI of his career.

Trout reached the milestone in his 813th game.

On Monday, Trout homered on Opening Day for the third time in four seasons to tie a Los Angeles Angels franchise record.

Trout currently ranks 13th on the Angels' all-time RBI list - one behind Howie Kendrick for 12th and 792 behind Garret Anderson for top spot.
