Watch: Kyrgios melts down after losing to Federer

Geoff Burke / USA TODAY Sports

Nick Kyrgios was up to his old tricks Friday night, smashing his racket not once, not twice, not even thrice ... but four times after he dropped a third-set tiebreaker to Roger Federer in the semifinals of the Miami Open.

The tantrum was one of several thrown by the fiery Aussie on the night. At one point in the deciding tiebreaker, he yelled at a fan to "shut the f--- up" for shouting out before the end of a point.

Federer won the match 7-6(9), 6-7(9), 7-6(5), and will meet Rafael Nadal in the final on Sunday. It'll be the pair's third meeting this year, with Federer previously winning in the Australian Open final and in the fourth round at Indian Wells.

Overall, Nadal still holds a 23-13 head-to-head advantage against the Swiss Maestro.
