Watch: Mickelson hits 3-wood off cart path at No. 8

Phil Mickelson is preparing for the Masters Tournament by playing his usual wild game at this week's Houston Open.

Mickelson missed nine fairways Thursday in his opening round, including at the par-5 eight, where he didn't just miss the fairway, he found the cart path.

But in typical Mickelson fashion, he elected to play the ball off the path and ended up making par on the hole.
