Watch: Nationals' Turner shows off glove, arm in spectacular play

@MLB / Twitter

Washington Nationals shortstop Trea Turner showed off his 80-grade glove and arm in a single play Tuesday, diving to catch a ground ball and then throwing it to first base in time to catch Miami Marlins center fielder Christian Yelich.

As if the catch wasn't enough, the ball left his hand so fast it would likely impress Noah Syndergaard. Though, it should be noted, Turner's delivery - with a leg and arm up - more closely resembles that of David Price.

Set to play his first full season at shortstop, the 23-year-old was previously lauded as one of baseball's top prospects. Without Danny Espinosa blocking his path, it appears the 2017 highlight reel might be full of plays like these from Turner.
