Here's a look at the Squad Up daily NBA fantasy picture for Monday, March 27:

Dynamic Duos

  • SG DeMar DeRozan (100K) and PF Serge Ibaka (66K), Raptors (vs. Magic): You'll need to break your piggy bank wide open to afford this pairing, but you'd be wise to consider it. DeRozan is coming off a pair of 40-point performances last week and is averaging 26.5 points, six rebounds and five assists in two games against Orlando this season. Ibaka would love nothing more than to torch his former team.
  • PG Seth Curry (51K) and SF Harrison Barnes (64K), Mavericks (vs. Thunder): Curry and Barnes have a solid matchup Monday against a Thunder team playing the second set of a back-to-back on the road. Dallas should be able to keep the score competitive, allowing both Curry and Barnes to return value on their mid-tier salaries. Don't expect a huge return here, but both players have high floors.
  • PG Mike Conley (79K) and C Marc Gasol (41K), Grizzlies (at Kings): This pairing comes with an enormous caveat: Gasol missed Sunday's game against Golden State and is considered questionable for Monday. If he doesn't play, you'll need to scramble for another center - but if he's cleared for action, you absolutely have to start him in a terrific matchup with Sacramento. Pairing Gasol and Conley could net you big points.

Bargain Plays

  • SG Evan Fournier (46K), Magic (at Raptors): Fournier continues to have a surprisingly good season, averaging nearly 17 points per game thanks to a 17.8 PPG mark in March. He scored 35 points combined in his first two meetings with Toronto this season, and should be counted on for another 15-20 points in this one. His upside is capped by a lack of counting stats in other categories, but he's a solid roster filler.
  • PF Taj Gibson (37K), Thunder (at Mavericks): Gibson saw just 17 minutes in Sunday's loss to the Rockets, but should see an uptick in playing time with the Thunder wrapping up a back-to-back in Dallas. Gibson has been effective in limited action since joining Oklahoma City in a trade with the Chicago Bulls, and is capable of a big line if he can get to the 25-30 minute mark. Line him up as a cheap cash-game flier.
  • C Kosta Koufos (27K), Kings (vs. Grizzlies): Koufos hasn't seen much playing time of late - just 14 minutes over the Kings' last three games - but he was rested Sunday against the Clippers, which suggests he should see action Monday. His matchup gets better if Gasol sits out, but there are other ways into a nice game, including if Memphis opens up a big lead. Koufos has major downside, but should return value.

Top Fades

  • PG Russell Westbrook (115K), Thunder (at Mavericks): Sometimes, you have to skip rostering Westbrook and look elsewhere. Monday is one of those times. Westbrook's point, assist and rebound averages are lower on the road than at home, and he averages two fewer helpers than his season mark on zero days rest. His floor remains sky-high, but at that price, you can find better ways to allocate your salary.
  • SF LeBron James (95K), Cavaliers (at Spurs): San Antonio is a difficult city for any visiting NBA team - even one as strong as Cleveland. James posted an admirable 29-6-7 line in his first meeting with the Spurs this season, but averaged 25.5-6-6 last year in two encounters and 23-5.5-8 the season before that. The Spurs know how to slow him down, and will likely do so Monday. Fade him hard.
  • C Rudy Gobert (84K), Jazz (vs. Pelicans): Gobert would be a stretch at this price regardless of the opponent; he averages just 13.7 points per game, and even with robust rebounding and block rates, he simply doesn't score enough to warrant an elite salary. But throw in a possible showdown with the Pelicans' twin towers of Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins, and Gobert should be avoided everywhere.

Contrarian Options

  • PG Deron Williams (28K), Cavaliers (at Spurs): Most players won't think to roster Williams now that he's a clear second fiddle to Kyrie Irving in Cleveland. But Williams has had a great deal of success against foes' second units, and that should continue Monday in San Antonio. Look to him for nice value at a price that will allow you to load up on higher-priced players at other positions.
  • SG Tony Allen (50K), Grizzlies (at Kings): Allen's reputation as a defense-first guard keeps his ownership low even in solid matchups - but he's one of the few mid-level shooting guards on Monday's slate with legitimate big-ticket upside. Allen should see 30+ minutes in this one, and if Gasol sits, he'll assume a bigger role in the offense. Add in his contributions in rebounds and assists, and he's a great contrarian pick.
  • C Enes Kanter (47K), Thunder (at Mavericks): In one of the odder coincidences, both Kanter and fellow Oklahoma City C Steven Adams average the same number of Squad Up points (24.9) and carry an identical price tag. But, while Adams is the prohibitive starter, Kanter has provided terrific production off the bench and should see more than his usual complement of playing time on the back end of a back-to-back.
