Here is a look at the Squad Up daily NBA fantasy picture for Friday, March 24:

Dynamic Duos

  • C Nikola Vucevic (70K) & PG Elfrid Payton (55K), Magic (vs. Pistons): Vucevic is playing his best ball of the season, averaging 18.8 points and 11.6 rebounds through the month of March. Payton has also been doing the same, averaging 12 points, eight boards, and 7.7 assists for the month. Despite the presence of Detroit C Andre Drummond, there's been no better time to roster this duo.
  • SG Avery Bradley (57K) & SF Jae Crowder (50K), Celtics (vs. Suns): For a tandem that can score both inside and out, as well as rebound, their combined price is a steal. Through their past four games, Bradley and Crowder are each averaging at least 16 points, six rebounds, and two assists. Feel comfortable rostering both in cash-game formats.
  • C Willie Cauley-Stein (53K) & SG Buddy Hield (44K), Kings (at Warriors): The youth movement is on in Sacramento. Hield has played over 30 minutes in three straight, while Cauley-Stein has averaged 32 minutes for the month. Keeping up with the Warriors probably won't happen for the Kings, but Hield and WCS will be a large part of trying.

Bargain Plays

  • PF Kenneth Faried (25K), Nuggets (at Pacers): Playing only 20 minutes a night, it's difficult to trust Faried's production. He posted five points and three rebounds just two games ago. But in the two games before and the one game after that dud, he's averaged 13.3 points and 7.6 boards. At the minimum price, that's tremendous value.
  • SF K.J. McDaniels (25K), Nets (at Wizards): McDaniels has played at least 20 minutes and scored double-digit points in his past two games. On the second night of a back-to-back, he should be able to hit those plateaus once again. Playing time and scoring opportunities are easy to come by in Brooklyn right now.
  • SG Garrett Temple (34K), Kings (at Warriors): Temple's quietly averaged 11.2 points, 3.8 assists, and 2.8 rebounds over his past five. Along with some 3-point range, those contributions add up to functional fantasy appeal at a low-end price. He's a simple fill-in for a roster looking to load up on star power, and he isn't likely to bust.

Top Fades

  • PF Giannis Antetokounmpo (90K), Bucks (vs. Hawks): Antetokounmpo is nearly matchup-proof, so this isn't an absolute must fade. But The Greek Freek runs into an Atlanta defense that ranks fourth in defensive efficiency and second in opponent points in the paint for the season. His lack of a 3-point shot will make it difficult for him to return value if he can't dominate near the rim.
  • SG Lou Williams (49K), Rockets (vs. Pelicans): Surprisingly, Williams has missed all nine 3-pointers he's attempted over his past three games. Not only is the dry spell concerning, but the limited attempts might actually be worse. In the 10 games prior with Houston, Williams was averaging 6.7 3-point tries a night. SG Eric Gordon is steadier and a touch cheaper.
  • SF Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (41K), Hornets (vs. Cavaliers): Kidd-Gilchrist hasn't scored double-digit points or grabbed five rebounds in three straight games. Though he's inexpensive, MKG isn't showing the upside one would want at this mid-tier price. The return of PF Kevin Love should also limit his ability to scoop up the occasional board.

Contrarian Options

  • PG Kemba Walker (76K), Hornets (vs. Cavaliers): Walker's averaged a meager 15.3 points on 33.3 percent shooting over his past four games. Luckily, he runs into the league's second-worst defense over the 15 past games - the Cleveland Cavaliers. Attempting 9.1 3-point attempts a night through his past 10, Walker has major upside if he can find his range.
  • SF Brandon Ingram (43K), Lakers (vs. Timberwolves): Ingram is currently dealing with knee tendinitis but remains probable for Friday's contest. Through each of his past four games, this year's second-overall pick has played nearly 40 minutes while averaging 17 points and 4.5 rebounds. The workload is too good at this price.
  • SF Taurean Prince (45K), Hawks (at Bucks): Prince has averaged almost 30 minutes with PF Paul Millsap sitting out Atlanta's past three games. He hasn't disappointed either, averaging 10.5 points, five boards, and two blocks in that brief stint. Millsap won't dress Friday, so expect Prince's relatively unnoticed production to continue.
