Report: Packers host Christine Michael, Byron Bell on FA visits

Jerry Lai / USA TODAY Sports

The Green Bay Packers are still working on flushing out their roster and they welcomed free-agent running back Christine Michael and tackle Byron Bell to their facility for a workout Wednesday, according to Field Yates of ESPN.

Michael spent part of the 2016 season with Green Bay after he was waived by Seattle in November and picked up by the Packers the following day. He got in six games with the Pack and averaged 3.7 yards per carry on 31 totes.

Bell started all 16 games for the Tennessee Titans in 2015, but missed the 2016 season after suffering an ankle injury in May. He figures to either provide depth at tackle or move to an interior position to fill some of Green Bay's voids as the Packers lost T.J. Lang and JC Tretter this offseason.
