Report: Georgetown's Peak declares for NBA draft, signs with agent

Add L.J. Peak's name to the list of college players hoping to hear their name called on June 22.

Georgetown appears to have been dealt a significant blow, as the junior guard will forgo his senior season and declare for the 2017 NBA Draft, sources told Jeff Goodman of ESPN.

Peak has elected to sign with an agent, Goodman reports, which officially brings his collegiate career to a close.

Peak was at the heart of the Hoyas' lineup throughout the season, averaging 16.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in 32.8 minutes over 32 games. Georgetown struggled to a ninth-place finish in the Big East with an overall record of 14-18.
