Here is a look at the Squad Up daily NBA fantasy picture for Monday, March 20:

Dynamic Duos

  • PG Kemba Walker (82K) & PF Marvin Williams (55K), Hornets (vs. Hawks): Williams has quietly averaged 13.7 points with 9.2 rebounds over his past 13 games. His rebounding ability provides great security in either cash or tournament formats. Walker could light it up from downtown with Atlanta ranking 29th in opponent 3-pointers made per game.
  • PG Russell Westbrook (122K) & C Enes Kanter (46K), Thunder (vs. Warriors): Kanter's offensive game could be highly useful in this matchup, as Westbrook will do his best to keep up with the Warriors. The Turkish big man put up 22 points and nine boards against Golden State on Jan. 18. Expect another triple-double from Russ.
  • SG Will Barton (66K) & PF Juancho Hernangomez (44K), Nuggets (at Rockets): Barton and Hernangomez have both seen their minutes jump in Denver's past two games with forwards Danilo Gallinari and Wilson Chandler both battling injury. With neither Gallinari nor Chandler suiting up, this economically friendly duo will have a role much larger than their respective salaries indicate.

Bargain Plays

  • SF Matt Barnes (34K), Warriors (at Thunder): Barnes should excel in what will be an up-tempo matchup as both Oklahoma City and Golden State sit in the top-10 of pace. Expect him to play 20-25 minutes and flirt with double-double potential. Over his past seven, Barnes has averaged nine points and eight rebounds.
  • SG Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot (37K), 76ers (at Magic): 'TLC' has tallied double-digit points in four straight outings. Expect the trend to continue as his minutes are trending upward. Orlando sits 23rd in defensive efficiency and has allowed opponents to average 112.6 points over their past eight games.
  • SF Taurean Prince (35K), Hawks (at Hornets): SF Kent Bazemore and PF Paul Millsap will be unavailable for Monday's contest. Daily players should immediately look to Atlanta for a handful of plays. Prince, a no-name in fantasy, has averaged 11.5 points, four boards, and 2.3 blocks over his past four games.

Top Fades

  • SF Paul George (78K), Pacers (vs. Jazz): The Pacers encounter one of the league's toughest fantasy opponents on the second night of a back-to-back. George scored just 19 points against the Jazz back on Jan. 21, and the Pacers have averaged just 95.6 points over their past eight.
  • C Marcin Gortat (49K), Wizards (at Celtics): Gortat has failed to play 30 minutes in each of his past four games. That's a notable drop for The Polish Hammer, who has averaged 32 minutes on the season. He failed to hit double-digit points in all four of those outings. Avoid him while he trends down.
  • SF Trevor Ariza (50K), Rockets (vs. Nuggets): Ariza totaled just 10 points in his past two games. Luckily, his rebounding ability has saved him from being an absolute zero. Still, fantasy owners have no reason to draft his unexciting presence. Right now, he lacks cash-game stability and offers very little tournament upside.

Contrarian Options

  • C Mason Plumlee (63K), Nuggets (at Rockets): Plumlee's move to Denver led many to believe his fantasy stock would fall. He has managed to retain his value by averaging 11.3 points, 8.9 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.9 blocks over his past seven. Those assist and block averages cement his daily appeal.
  • PF Ersan Ilyasova (51K), Hawks (at Hornets): In the absence of Millsap, Saturday, Ilyasova scored 23 points with four 3-pointers in 27 minutes. With no Millsap or Bazemore, Monday, Ilyasova can go to work from beyond the arc against Charlotte. The Hornets sit 30th overall in opponent 3-pointers made per game.
  • SG Joe Ingles (50K), Jazz (at Pacers): Ingles has been locked into major minutes of late, thanks to SG Rodney Hood's current knee issue. The 3-point sharp shooter has averaged 13 points, 3.8 assists, and 3.5 rebounds in 31 minutes over his past four games. Expect many to avoid this Jazz-Pacers matchup due to the slow pace.
