What should have been a routine save turned into a moment that San Jose Earthquakes goalkeeper David Bingham will never be able to live down.

Sporting Kansas City attacker Soony Saad sent a harmless shot into his arms, only for Bingham to fumble and watch in horror as it rolled between his legs and across the goal line.

It was ... woeful. And while San Jose managed to score a late goal to cut the lead, it meant that this embarrassing effort - and not Benny Feilhaber's incredible rocket goal - proved the game-winner for Sporting KC.
