The Philadelphia Eagles have signed free-agent wideout Torrey Smith to a three-year contract, the team announced.

The deal is worth $15 million, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

In Smith, the Eagles get the vertical threat their offense sorely lacked in 2016. They will also get a player who can serve as a mentor to the Eagles' young receiving corps.
