The Jacksonville Jaguars are continuing to load up on defensive line talent.

Landing one of the top free agents available this year, the Jaguars are expected to sign longtime Arizona Cardinals standout Calais Campbell, ESPN's Dianna Russini reports, citing sources.

Signings can't become official until the new league year begins Thursday at 4 p.m. ET, so arrangements that surface beforehand are in no way set in stone. But it certainly appears as though Jacksonville's new leadership regime managed to get its first offseason started with a massive acquisition.

Campbell has been a consistent force since joining the Cardinals as a second-round pick in 2008. After starting 120 games over that stretch, he hit the free-agent market this year with 56.5 sacks and two Pro Bowl appearances on his impressive resume.

The 30-year-old will join the likes of 2016 free-agent signing Malik Jackson and recent draft picks Dante Fowler Jr. and Yannick Ngakoue in giving Jacksonville plenty of versatility up front.
