Falcons' Gabriel: I could beat Usain Bolt in a 30-yard race
Atlanta Falcons wideout Taylor Gabriel is one of the NFL's fastest players, but he isn't the fastest man in the world.
Eight-time Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt is.
But Gabriel doesn't lack self-confidence, and he declared on NFL Network's "Good Morning Football" on Wednesday that he could beat Bolt in a race - as long as it was short enough.
"If we race 30 yards, I got Usain Bolt," Gabriel boasted.
Gabriel conceded he wouldn't win a 100-yard race, but doubled-down on his belief he would win a shorter race.
"I might be able to get him in a 40, but a 30, I got him in a 30."
Bolt is famously a slow starter, largely because of his lanky frame, but it's still difficult to imagine the man who jogged to a world record in the 100m losing to any NFL player over any distance.
