Ian Poulter couldn't recover from a poor opening round Thursday at the Texas Open, failing to make the cut at TPC San Antonio.
Poulter didn't just miss playing the weekend, he also lost his full-time PGA Tour status for the 2017 season.
Patrick Reed threw two bogeys on the scorecard over his last four holes to also miss the cut by two. Reed, who's been tinkering with his equipment, has now missed three straight cuts.
