Arizona bolstered its defensive line on Sunday night, as the Wildcats landed coveted USC transfer Noah Jefferson.

The 6-foot-5, 280-pound defensive tackle was ranked as the 25th-best player at his position in the class of 2015, choosing USC over many top-level programs including Alabama, Georgia, and Florida State.

Jefferson was slated to be an important member of the Trojans line in 2016, but suffered an injury in the opening game to the Crimson Tide and never saw the field again due to personal and academic issues.

The Wildcats were ranked 83rd in the country last season at stopping the run, so adding a player with Jefferson's talents should be a massive help to Rich Rodriguez's outfit.
