Sprinkler heads are ruthless at the Honda Classic

Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

For the second straight day, a sprinkler head has been unkind to the players at the Honda Classic.

Rickie Fowler elected to putt his ball from behind the hole at the par-4 fourth on Sunday, but a sprinkler head gobbled his ball up en route to point B. Fowler received a free drop, but made bogey on the hole.

Just prior to Fowler's putt, playing partner Tyrrell Hatton hit his bunker shot into the same sprinkler head.

On Saturday, Ryan Brehm's tee shot at the par-3 15th hit a sprinkler head behind the putting surface, propelling it into the water.
