Watch: Phillies' Franco legs out inside-the-park HR on Yankees gaffe

Reinhold Matay / USA TODAY Sports

Maikel Franco probably doesn't need to be gifted a home run, but he certainly won't say no to one.

After lodging Franco's ball under the outfield wall in the fourth inning Saturday, New York Yankees outfielder Dustin Fowler attempted to have the play called dead, though the umpires - and Franco - weren't having it.

The slugging Phillies third baseman continued his trek around the bases, earning himself quite possibly the easiest inside-the-park home run of his career.
