With the NFL awarding the compensatory draft selections for the 2017 draft on Friday, the Los Angeles Rams' 2016 trade for the right to draft Jared Goff will be completed.

The Rams negotiated a blockbuster deal with the Tennessee Titans for the first overall pick last spring, but there remained one detail to be worked out.

The Rams were awarded a third-round compensatory selection (100th overall) and will send that pick to the Titans, completing the trade.

Had the Rams not been awarded a compensatory pick at the end of the third round, they would have traded their earlier third-round pick to the Titans and received the Titans' seventh-round pick in return.
