No retirement plans for Trent Cole: I want 100 sacks and a Super Bowl

After 12 NFL seasons, Trent Cole has accomplished a lot, but he's not finished yet.

The 34-year-old two-time Pro Bowler is a pending free agent after spending the last two seasons with the Indianapolis Colts. He told SiriusXM NFL radio on Friday that his body doesn't feel like its time to hang up the pads as long as he still has some unaccomplished goals to reach.

"My body isn't telling me to quite yet," said Cole. "I have unfinished business... winning the Super Bowl and getting to 100 sacks."

Cole is sitting at 90.5 career sacks, but hasn't had a 9.5-sack season since 2011.

Cole later alluded to the idea that football is hard on his body and he won't play unless he's paid a certain price, but clarified any potential retirement talk on Twitter soon after:

Cole will likely be wanted by someone, but he may not get the money he desires as there are plenty of edge rushers to choose from and the 34-year-old is not among the best of them.
