Life in the NBA isn't turning out the way The Unicorn planned.

Between on-court losses and off-court drama, the New York Knicks have been disastrous. And matters could be getting worse after Kristaps Porzingis suffered an injury Thursday.

Fresh off winning the Skills Challenge at All-Star weekend, the sophomore big man was forced out of New York's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers after spraining his ankle.

Afterward, he tweeted (then deleted) this:

One of the few bright spots for the Knicks this season, Porzingis finished with eight points, five boards, and two blocks in 15 minutes as his team fell 119-104.

Since getting off to a promising start to 2016-17 and ranking as high as third in the East, the Knicks have been in freefall. They've gone 9-25 - the second-worst record in the league over that span - and dropped out of the playoff picture.

They've also been embroiled in controversy, whether it be Derrick Rose going AWOL, president Phil Jackson trying to run star Carmelo Anthony out of town, or the huge blowup between owner James Dolan and Knicks legend Charles Oakley.

So, yeah, probably not what Zinger expected.
