In no surprise, Colombia will send Jose Quintana to the mound in the World Baseball Classic's team opener against the USA squad, according to Jon Morosi of MLB Network who cites Colombia's manager Luis Urueta.

The 27-year-old Chicago White Sox left-hander is by far the team's best starter as he will look to give Colombia an early advantage against a stacked Team USA.

Quintana will lead a roster that will be without Cincinnati Reds infielder Dilson Herrera who will reportedly sit out the tournament, according to Urueta, per Morosi.

Both clubs will face off on March 10 in Miami.
