Owen Coyle is departing Ewood Park.

Blackburn Rovers announced Tuesday the club has split with Coyle by mutual agreement. Also leaving are Sandy Stewart, John Henry, and Phil Hughes, who worked as assistant manager, first-team coach, and goalkeeping coach, respectively.

"The club would like to place on record its thanks to Owen and his staff for all their efforts this season and we wish them well for the future," read a statement on Blackburn's official website. "The search for a new manager will begin with immediate effect."

Coyle was appointed Blackburn's manager in June 2016 on a two-year deal, then produced his worst win ratio in England at Ewood Park. As a result, the club is in the Championship's relegation zone with only seven victories from 31 matches.

Blackburn suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to Manchester United on Sunday in the fifth round of the FA Cup. On Friday, the club visits Burton Albion in the Championship.
