Jimmermania is running wild in China.

Former NBA first-round pick Jimmer Fredette scored an astounding 73 points Sunday night as his Shanghai Sharks fell in double overtime to the Zhejiang Guangsha Lions in the Chinese Basketball Association.

His offensive onslaught ranks as the fourth highest-scoring night in league history.

The 27-year-old is averaging 36.3 points, eight rebounds, and 4.4 assists in 36 minutes for the Sharks, while shooting 48 percent from the field and 40.5 percent from 3-point range.

He was selected 10th overall by the Milwaukee Bucks in 2011 and played five seasons in the NBA with the Sacramento Kings, Chicago Bulls, New Orleans Pelicans, and New York Knicks.
