Owens laughs at new HOF criticism about dropped passes

John David Mercer / USA TODAY Sports

More and more Pro Football Hall of Fame voters are talking about their decision to leave Terrell Owens out in his second year of eligibility.

As the criticism of their decision mounts, so has the decibel level of their defense.

The latest salvo comes from Hall of Fame voter Ron Borges of the Boston Herald. He wrote Friday, among other things, that "Owens not only led the NFL in drops once, he finished in the top four in drops seven other seasons during his 15-year career."

That was notably laughed off by one Terrell Owens ...

... and dismissed by others.
