Chris Long blasts trolls, reiterates decision to skip White House visit

New England Patriots defensive end Chris Long is running out of patience for online trolls.
Long reiterated his decision to skip the team's traditional trip to the White House, confirming last week that he would not be attending.
The 31-year-old is among many Patriots who will not attend the ceremony, along with Martellus Bennett, Devin McCourty, James White, Dont'a Hightower, LeGarrette Blount and Alan Branch.
Long, who's among the NFL's most active players on Twitter, eviscerated a host of people who dared to take him to task.
Long also noted that he wouldn't be able to actually discuss policy with President Donald Trump, noting that the defending champion's traditional visit to the White House is merely pomp and circumstance:
