Texas A&M's Hogg done for season with foot injury

DJ Hogg's season has come to an abrupt end.

The Texas A&M forward will miss the remainder of the season because of a foot injury, the school announced Thursday. Hogg was the team's third leading scorer, averaging 12 points per game.

"DJ has tried to play through the pain during the last four games, but after consulting with the A&M medical staff, DJ and his family decided to focus on his rehab and recovery for next season," Aggies head coach Billy Kennedy said.

The sophomore suffered the ailment in January and was forced to sit out two games. He returned but saw a significant decrease in minutes during his next four contests.
