Report: Orioles agree to minor-league deal with Juan Francisco

Dan Hamilton-USA TODAY Sports

The Baltimore Orioles have reportedly agreed to a minor-league deal with infielder Juan Francisco, according to Eduardo A. Encina of the Baltimore Sun.

Francisco last appeared in the majors in 2014 as a member of the Toronto Blue Jays. He spent the 2015 season with the Yomiuri Giants of the Japan Central League.

A six-year veteran in MLB, Francisco owns a career .236/.297/.439 slash line with 48 home runs and 152 RBIs. Able to play both first and third base, he'll provide the Orioles with extra depth at the infield corner positions.
