Atletico Madrid's Diego Godin: Hopeful over Champions League return

Godin (thigh) is hopeful that he will be able to return for the Champions League match with Bayern Leverkusen, Marca reports.

Analysis:

Godin suffered a grade I muscular injury in his right thigh but is hopeful over a quick return from injury. Atletico are already missing Lucas Hernandez because of legal troubles and Jose Gimenez because of injury. Godin will likely miss Saturday's match with Sporting.
