One of the next editions of El Clasico could reportedly take place in the United States of America.

There is a possibility Barcelona and Real Madrid will take the pitch together as part of this summer's International Champions Cup, with the preseason affair being held in Miami, reports Marca's Juan Ignacio Garcia-Ochoa. There have apparently been talks of a "Super Bowl style event" for the fixture, which would include a pregame concert and a halftime concert.

However, Garcia-Ochoa describes the fixture as "somewhat unlikely to follow through, given the relationship between the two clubs."

Real Madrid is confirmed to play in Miami as part of this year's International Champions Cup, and played in the tournament last year, visiting Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio; Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Michigan; and MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. Barcelona, meanwhile, popped by the Aviva Stadium in Ireland, Friends Arena in Sweden, and Wembley Stadium in the United Kingdom.

The next installment of El Clasico is scheduled for April 23, when Real Madrid welcomes Barcelona in La Liga.
