Duke already starting spring camp

Danny Wild / USA TODAY Sports

It has only been two days since National Signing Day and it's still 204 days until the 2017 season kicks off, but Duke has already begun spring camp, a month before most other programs will take part in their own.

"We got what we wanted out of today," head coach David Cutcliffe said after practice.

This is not the first time Cutcliffe has held spring camp in February, as the Blue Devils did so in 2015 as well.

With Michigan traveling to Rome in April and spring camp now extending from February to March, college football is getting closer and closer to year round as fall camp begins in August.
