McCall sees 5th straight booking fall through after Seery pulls out of UFC 208

Some cruel, otherworldly being is doing everything it can to keep Ian McCall from returning to the Octagon.

The longtime flyweight is without an opponent yet again after Neil Seery pulled out of their date at UFC 208 due to the death of his mother-in-law. A UFC official confirmed the news to MMAjunkie's Mike Bohn following a Sunday report by Ireland's SevereMMA. McCall hasn't fought in two years, a previously injury-riddled layoff that's been prolonged with five consecutive failed bookings - two of them against Seery and four over the past five months:

The promotion has yet to confirm Seery's withdrawal from the February event, but is reportedly mining the flyweight roster for a replacement to keep McCall off the couch.
