The Chicago Bulls are reportedly at the top of a list of teams that plan to chase Chris Bosh if the former All-Star is cleared to return next season, but Dwyane Wade claims he's heard no such chatter.

"I play with the Bulls and I don’t even know that," Wade said Friday, as reported by the Chicago Tribune's Chris Kue. "That’s news to me.

"Everyone knows he a good friend of mine so that’s probably where you get some of that. But besides that, he hasn’t told me that."

Bosh and Wade were teammates with the Miami Heat for six seasons (2010-2016) before Wade signed with his hometown Bulls this past summer.

Bosh, of course, has been sidelined since being given a second diagnosis of blood clots during last February's All-Star Weekend, not appearing in an NBA game since Feb. 9, 2016. The 11-time All-Star has suited up for only 97 games over the last three seasons.

"The biggest thing with Chris is ... his health," Wade said. "He’s not even playing basketball right now. Basketball is something he loves and I’m sure somewhere in the back of his mind he would love to be able to do again but I know his steps and that moment is not here now. I can’t even talk about next year."

Just a week before failing a physical in September, Bosh declared himself "ready to play." He's since switched agents as he awaits his basketball future.

The Heat can remove Bosh from the team's payroll after Feb. 9, according to ESPN's Marc Stein, though they're not expected to waive the 32-year-old big man until after March 1, preventing him from becoming playoff-eligible for another team.
